“The Mouse” is a student project I made at Parsons The New School of Design for the animation short project. The plot of the story is inspired from the mice I often find in New York City and their possible everyday life. The greyscale black and white color palette is inspired by the famous graphic novel, Maus, by Art Spiegelman. Through the monotonous and minimalistic aesthetics with rough strokes of line, I wanted to visually represent the struggles of the mice.
